Who Betrayed Rollo Ac Valhalla

Who Betrayed Rollo Ac Valhalla

Okay, let's talk about Rollo. You know, from Assassin's Creed Valhalla? The Viking hunk who always seems to be caught in a web of drama? Someone betrayed him, but who really did it? Let's dig in.

Was it Lagertha?

Ah, Lagertha. A shield-maiden legend. She was beautiful, fierce, and a mother figure to Rollo. But their relationship was...complicated.

She always pushed him, maybe too hard. Was that tough love or veiled dislike? Hmmm.

Did Lagertha's expectations betray Rollo? By not fully accepting him for who he was, did she set him on a path of seeking approval elsewhere? It's a thought!

Maybe Bjorn Ironside?

Next up, Bjorn Ironside, her son. He and Rollo had a rivalry bubbling from the start. Always competing, always comparing.

Bjorn was the golden child, always praised. Rollo constantly felt like he was in Bjorn's shadow. Sounds like a toxic friendship, doesn't it?

Did Bjorn inadvertently betray Rollo simply by existing? By being the favored one, did he fuel Rollo's insecurities and eventual...well, you know...

King Harald Finehair: Friend or Foe?

Then we have King Harald Finehair. Ambitious, power-hungry, and always looking for an angle. He seemed to have Rollo's ear for a while.

Harald offered Rollo power and influence. Was it genuine friendship or a manipulative power play? You decide.

Did Harald betray Rollo by exploiting his vulnerabilities? Did he use Rollo's desire for acceptance to further his own goals?

The Real Culprit: Rollo Himself

Here's where things get interesting. Maybe, just maybe, everyone is wrong. What if Rollo betrayed himself?

Hear me out. Rollo was always searching for something. Validation, power, love, maybe even just an identity.

His constant need to prove himself drove many decisions. Decisions that, let's face it, weren't always the best. He often made choices that hurt those closest to him. Was he searching for the right things?

He may have wanted someone to blame, but he was the only person that could change him. He didn't know how.

Did Rollo betray himself by not believing in himself? By letting his insecurities dictate his actions, did he pave his own path to...well, betrayal? I think he did.

My Unpopular Opinion

Okay, here's my controversial take: Rollo was primarily responsible for his own misfortune. Everyone around him had a part, sure. But his choices were his.

Lagertha, Bjorn, and Harald all played their parts, but they didn't force his hand. He chose to betray, to scheme, to act in ways that ultimately isolated him.

He spent so much time wanting to be like someone else. This made him unable to accept and love his own self.

So, Who Really Betrayed Rollo?

Ultimately, it's a messy mix. Lagertha, Bjorn, and Harald all contributed to Rollo's state of mind. But, Rollo's own choices were the catalyst.

It's easy to point fingers at others, but maybe the biggest lesson here is self-acceptance. Rollo never truly learned that lesson.

Perhaps if Rollo had learned to love himself, the story would have been different. The end.

What do you think? Am I totally off base? Let me know!
