Aeromexico Business Class Lounge Heathrow

Aeromexico Business Class Lounge Heathrow

Okay, let's talk about the Aeromexico Business Class Lounge at Heathrow. You know, that place you're supposed to feel all fancy and important?

I have a confession to make. An unpopular opinion, perhaps. I think it's... fine. Just fine.

First Impressions: A Bit... Beige?

Walking in, it's not exactly bursting with vibrant Mexican energy, is it? More like a quiet, polite "hello" in beige tones.

Don't get me wrong, it's clean. And there are chairs. But does it scream "fiesta"? Nah.

The Seating Situation: Find Your Spot (and Maybe an Outlet)

Finding a seat isn't usually a problem. Unless you're like me, and absolutely require a working power outlet.

Then it becomes a strategic game of lounge chair Tetris. Is this outlet actually working? Only time (and my dying phone battery) will tell.

And the chairs themselves? Comfy enough, I suppose. But not exactly the kind of comfy that makes you miss your flight.

Food and Drink: The Quesadilla Conundrum

The food situation is... interesting. Let's just say my expectations for authentic Mexican cuisine at Heathrow are pretty low. And even then...

There's usually a sad-looking quesadilla situation happening. Limp tortilla, questionable cheese. Is it delicious? Not exactly.

But is it edible? Absolutely. I've definitely eaten worse things on long layovers.

The Drinks: Tequila... Maybe?

The drinks are where things get a little more exciting. If by "exciting" you mean "they have a selection of drinks."

They usually have beer, wine, and some spirits. Tequila? Sometimes. But not the good stuff, sadly.

Still, a free drink is a free drink. I'm not complaining too much.

The Vibe: Quiet and Contemplative (or Just Bored?)

The overall vibe in the lounge is pretty subdued. People are generally quiet. Headphones are a must.

It's a good place to get some work done, or just zone out before a long flight. Although, I suspect a lot of people are secretly bored.

I mean, there's only so much free Wi-Fi you can use before your brain starts to melt. Right?

The Staff: Efficient and Polite

The staff are always perfectly nice. Efficient, polite, and generally invisible. Which, honestly, is exactly what you want.

They keep the place clean and tidy. And they don't judge you for eating your fifth questionable quesadilla.

So, kudos to them. They're doing their best in a beige situation.

Unpopular Opinion: It's... Fine. Really.

Look, I know I'm not exactly singing its praises. But the Aeromexico Business Class Lounge at Heathrow is... fine.

It's not amazing. It's not terrible. It's just... there. A place to sit, eat a slightly-sad quesadilla, and charge your phone (if you can find a working outlet).

And sometimes, that's all you really need. Especially when you're about to cram yourself into an airplane seat for 12 hours.

The Verdict: Would I Go Back?

Would I go back? Of course. It's free. And it's better than sitting in the main terminal with the masses.

Just don't go in expecting a luxury experience. Go in expecting a slightly-above-average airport waiting room. And maybe bring your own tequila.

Because, let's be honest, everything's better with tequila. Even a beige airport lounge.
